I know sweetheart brooches aren't everyone's cup of tea, but I do buy one occasionally when of a unit I collect or anything unusual at the right price!

I have recently purchased the brooch in the above pictures and have so far drawn a blank as to which unit it belongs. The nearest I have found was the Gloucestershire Yeomanry (which I hoped it was and the reason I acquired it), but the chains on the GY type are twisted. So no joy there unfortunately!

Could I please put a request out to the learned forum for any further information to help me ID this piece.
Do we have an expert on sweetheart badges on board?

A Volunteer Battalion of the KRRC I have found.
Also, by coincidence, there is a memorial to a CFD Fitch of the Battalion in St. Cassius' Church in Chaddesley Corbett, Worcestershire near where I live. He was killed on the Somme.

Another mystery solved.
