Hello

Could someone please explain exactly what is being written in the entry for a possible relative of mine - William Nutt - in the nominal roll? I am not familiar with any of the abbreviations in red ink on the left hand page and wonder what BT means above the date 29.11.00 in the 4th column on the right hand page.

Thanks

Claire

These documents can be difficult to decipher, for sure.

The red text says he previously served in the South African Light Horse and subsequently served in the Rhodesia Regiment and Army Service Corps.

He is entitled to the date clasps on his QSA (KCR).

He enlisted in the CinCBG in Cape Town (CT).

Best wishes
David
