Hello I'm really grateful for the expertise here on the Forum.
I have a QSA with 3 bars to 7843 Corporal F Burton, the name list to 2nd Battalion only lists a Pte H Burton and the no. isn't the same?
Can somebody please help and supply a medal roll.

HIs QSA is listed on WO100/182p498, initial F, with clasps CC Tr and LN. A note says employed in the Telegraph Department, Pretoria. He served with the Volunteer Company, 2nd Scottish Rifles.

Frederick William Severne Burton. Born 1869. Service papers extant.

Frederick William Severne Burton, a thirty one year old telegraphist and one time member of the Lanarkshire Rifle Volunteers had actually been born in South Africa, attested for service in the war at Glasgow upon the 15th of January 1900 at their Depot, posted to the 2nd Battalion he subsequently served until the 8th of May 1901 when he was discharged, he gave his next of kin as a Miss C A Burton.
