Hi everyone. I have been a "lurker" on this forum for a few years and have used the invaluable resources it provides for my own interest. I have recently started to get more interested in collecting medals outside of my more regular First World War theme and have a lot to learn surrounding medals awarded during the Boer War.

I am currently researching a man in the Seaforth Highlanders (3599 Angus McLean) which I have posted another topic on in the forum, as well as 5532 J. Baillie - Royal Munster Fusiliers who will be the next one to look into some more.

Looking forward to learning some more about the conflict and the medals!
