Hello everyone,

Just a quick introduction as I've been using the website for some years now but have only just decided to join the forum. I'm a medal collector (and I see a lot of familiar names on here from the BMF as well as a few Facebook groups) and my primary focus is medals to The Queen's (Royal West Surrey) Regt. As such, I have a fair number of QSA's in my collection and a strong interest in the war, especially the Battle of Colenso where the regiment played a fairly prominent role. I also collect Royal Naval Long Service groups as well as Africa General Service Medals, so I do have a couple of non-RWSR QSA's as well.

Looking forward to (hopefully) adding to the great discussions on this board.

Thanks Mike! Pretty sure we met a number of years ago at an OMSA convention, you had a raised date QSA to the LdSH with you (in a frame i think?)
