My grandfather Albert Victor Codrington served in the Boer War and kept a diary/pocket book which I last saw in about 1960. It ended with a comment that they were encamped outside Ladysmith. I don't know what became of this diary and wonder if anyone knows its wherabouts. Can anyone help?

I am guessing this is Pte 5399 AV Codrington Border Rgt?
