Greetings all. I recently purchased a Webley WG Army. The revolver, retained by John Rigby & Co., was originally sold to Capt. Battye of the 13th Hussars. That was on 16 October 1899, about the time he left for South Africa.
I have been able to locate some information on Capt. Battye. What I would like to find is a photograph. If anyone can offer a suggestion on how one could be located, I would be grateful.
