My grandfather, John Woodcock Jenkins, served as a private with the 29th(Denbighshire) Company, 9th Battalion.

Does anyone know of any pictures of this company, please, or know where I can find further details about the company?

My grandfather would have been a fine rider. I understand he may have taken his own horse. Are there records of this, please?

Thanks for any help, or for a point in the right direction!

Peter Jenkins
