Good day,
My name is Janine Pretorius and I ended up here due to doing a family search and found some information and pictures of my grandfather on this forum. Thanks to the work of some individuals here which I will thank personally, I was able to learn a lot about my family history in a short space of time. The site also helped me to know a little more about what my great grandfather did in the war!
It was quite an insightful find. Great work done by people!

This is certainly an excellent website and forum, contributed to by many people who know a great many things. One thing that I enjoy here is that I can learn something new each time I log on. As you have already found, there is always someone who already knows the information you are looking for and everyone is happy to help each other out.

Enjoy finding out what your Grandfather was involved in and increasing your knowledge and understanding of the Boer War.
