Hello all,
thanks for allowing me to join.
My initial reason for joining is my wife has a relative that was with the Hampshire Regiment during the conflict and as I trace family history I am discovering more ancestors whilst not necessarily in this conflict they may have been elsewhere. I have a collection of medals that have been passed down to me by my late father in law and thought I might add to your list of known combatants.

I'd like to add a photo to a new topic but I can't see an attachment button. Can somebody advise how to do it?

Hi, to attach photos
1. Look at the bottom of the new post and click on attachments as circled in red.
2. Follow the prompts and select the file you want to attach. There are size limits, for pictures ~0.5M, so if it does not work first time reduce the size of the file,
3. Once attached look a little lower down and tick the box to display the picture in the message and click on insert

for some reason I expected it to be at the top a la Outlook. Didn't even consider looking at the bottom. Doh!
