Having recently acquired a QSA named to Murray's Scouts, could I please ask if anyone knows if any attestation papers exist?
This would be a great help with my research.

No attestation papers for Murrays Horse or Scouts exist to my knowledge. Somewhere on this forum is a thread which contains the list of members, per squadron.

Thanks for your quick response.

No, Nurden is not my man. I have followed the trading journey of Nurden's QSA for around twelve months now. Initially on eBay and then at Noonan's sale last month. Congratulations to the collector who now has it, a nice medal.

My man has a quite a backstory, so I am reluctant to let the cat out of the bag at the moment! I was thrilled to pick this medal up as there is a strong possibility that he may have been an ancestor on my mother's side of the family!
I will be asking questions throughout the family to try and find connections.
