Joined recently but have used this website for a number of years for research.

I'm a Year 12 student from Western Australia and own a history website dedicated to the Western Australian Mounted Infantry (which fought in the Second Boer War) among other things. I'm also writing a unit history on the same unit. My Great Grandfather and his brother fought with the 3rd and 4th Western Australian Mounted Infantry with the former being wounded in action.

They were Trooper William Anderson (Farmer, 32) and Trooper Arthur Anderson (Surveyor, 35).

I hope I can be of assistance to anyone who needs help finding names and such from this unit.

Welcome to the site. If you are unaware of it, the Book "The Colonials in South Africa" by Stirling contains several pages concerning the activities of the various WA contingents in the Boer War. the OZ-Boer database might also be of interest.
I don't recall the last time I saw a QSA to a West Australian unit; pretty small catchment so they must be scarce.

Luca, as per others welcome to this site. I am sure there is a LOT of information that you will be able to find in these pages. While also based in WA, where there are a number of medal collectors, I have done little in the space of WA contingents. So will be watching the developments on your site with interest.

An extract of a document I received from someone in Perth whose grandfather served in the 1st Contingent WA Mounted Infantry. You likely have this info but thought I would share it.
