TOPIC:

My grandfather, John Dyer, served in the Somerset Light Infantry in South Africa during the Boer War. He served in a maxim gun team and was awarded the QSA and KSA. He is seated on the right end of the middle row in the attached picture. If anyone else had relatives in the SLI please let me know.
