Hi All, firstly thank you all for being generous in the way you share information with fellow enthusiasts, i am most grateful.
Sadly i have been one of those who have 'lurked' around in the shadows and depths of this wonderful forum for too long.
If i can introduce myself, I am Mark, former military, with an interest in the South African Wars.
I currently collect medals to the Connaught Rangers, 99% QSAs but recently purchased my first Boer Oorlog medal, which was the original 'lightbulb' moment that brought me to collecting.
Glad to see that some of the members of the BMF are also here, so looking forward to contributing and discussing mutual area's of interest.
