TOPIC:

This post shows photograph of my grandfather who served in the Royal Engineers. Note that he is wearing the Hong Kong plague medal although it was not officially sanctioned as a campaign medal.
I want to trace the whereabouts of these medals. They may still be in the hands of long lost family in South Africa.
The other posts are of his paybook, which is not in very good condition.
