Greetings
A recent search of the founder of our Painting and Decorating business in Durban has led me to this site, where a copy of Natal's Who's Who 1906 has information on him.
This is the first information we have of him, apart from the fact that he started our business in 1886.
I am interested in trying to obtain a clearer copy of his photo, as well as obtaining more information about his military service, what regiment he served with, his medals etc.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Regards
Chris Brown

Hello Chris,

His Boer War service is proving tricky to define given his surname. I am still looking for that.

He certainly saw he share of the conflicts in South Africa over a 25 year period.

His marriage certification and details of his death are available online:

He was a member of the Port Natal Masonic Lodge.
