Have just found what i hope is my grandfathers regiment and service no for the boer war

it has taken me around 25 years to find this as we had no Photo's or medals to go on my Aunt missplaced everything years ago

? were will I find the regimental museum for the Dragoon Guards 3rd Prince of Wales please

? any suggestions were I would find the enlistment books for this regiment

? what else would help me in my research please

Did go to Kew a couple of times as he also served in the 1st world war for a short period before being discharge due to sickness by this time he was 38 years old. But there were no surviving records for a John William White that fits.
