I am currently researching nurses in the Boer War for my PhD and hope to be finished next summer. I am doing a prosopography and my database is available at www.boerwarnurse.com

I started by collecting a few QSAa to nurses (being a military nurse myself). I found they had names inscribed. I found a copy of a nominal roll at the Army Medical Services Museum and after that I was hooked on finding out more about the nurses. I now have a huge collection of information including medal rolls, census data, diaries, letters and scrap books - all of which I am slowly feeding into the database.

So if anyone has questions about the nurses - or data that I can use - I would be grateful to hear from you.
