I have only recently discoverd my g grandfather's war records.

I had no idea that he served in the Boer Wars. Ancestry has given me his war records and medical history that puts him in SA with the first Battalion. It also explains a find in a box of stuff - some everlasting silver leaves from Table Top mountain - with a message to Mother for Christmas.

I love the website- I have learned loads. More reading to do.

I think you are very lucky to have a good set of papers for him in WO364, the victorian medical certificate is both scarce and very nice to see in particular.
