Does anyone have any info on the POW camp in Sea Point.

Stayed in a Backpackers place in SeaPoint, Cape Town. That was akin to a POW camp! Fortunately the Indian Curries I could acquire nearby, the locals & beers made up for the hardship I endured there. Not sure this helps but this is my experience of Seapoint, Cape Town RSA. Enjoyed my stay there and the South Africans are a good bunch of folks. Thanks for reminding me of my recent travels there.

I wish to change my subject heading to: Greenpoint POW camp for Boer war prisoners in early 1900. Does anyone have any info.
I possess an A4 size album of poems, quotations, envelopes that are from the prisoners that have been pasted into an album.
Wish I knew more on this subject.

Sorry, can't really help much with this but if you wanted to try find more on individual POWs named in the book you might be able to find them in the database of the Anglo-Boer War Museum.
