Hi David and Forum members

I signed on a year back but was unable to get my password to work, it might have been a PC /IT problem? Anyway tried again this week and it worked.

As a rather long time collector (+-40 years) of medals (and a few badges), I have drifted from QSA's to modern medals but mainly with an artillery connection. Needless to say the odd other interesting "Foot Slogger" or Air Force group and even a number of Navy groups have crept in over the years. So now it has become a more of a balanced all round collection. I also collect POW groups as a sub theme, I find these interesting and the bug bit after having the Uys Krige book on his escape adventures as a setbook at school.(Just imagime this happening in SA today?)

I do believe we have been aquainted via the BMF for a number of years.

I met David and his late brother a number of years back out here in SA,on one of their fleeting battlefield tours. The collectors out here have always had a high regard for their efforts in documenting the history of the Anglo Boer War. The info available on this forum is a statement in itself to Davids continued dedication.
