My grandfather name is John Beaumont rank sargeant 3462 ? Kings royal rifle corps for 13 57/365 Years ,at the end of his tenure think he was sent to nz to train troops for ww1 was himself sent to galipoli under the otago infantry as Regimental sargeant major for the regimental ww2 was the quarter master and captain retired 1944 he past 1948.As he went to the boer war i know nothing about hi activities their oould enyone help me any group pictures of members kings royal rifle corps at the time or maybe info about him this is my first post on this forum thanks

can anyone tell me about the ships that took soldiers to india after the boer war I also know that grandad went on to Rawaipindi, thanks
