Hi, wonder if anyone can tell me where I could find proof that my two relation's,did actually collect their war Medals,i have both of their service records,so im sure that both of them were awarded their medals but I'm looking for correspondence to confirm if they did receive them,any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have copies of the rolls? On there would be the issue date, and a comment if they were returned.

It depends on who they were, if they were simply automatically sent you, or they had to apply for them.

If they were serving in the British Army and you have their service papers, any medals that they were in possession of at the time of discharge will be shown on the same, otherwise, you should consult the relevant medal rolls in WO100.
