Good morning to all fellow Boer War historians. I have in my posession the diaries and Newspaper cuttings(1899 -1901) of my great grandfather WJ Muller who embarked to South Africa 1899 as a civilian correspondent attached to the military mainly for Reuters. His articles were published in the Daily Telegraph, some of which are included with the diaries. .It is a daily account of his progress from embarking in London to the period of early 1901 and has detailed information regarding troop dispositions, skirmishes and general information of the British advance from Capetown to Kimberley and beyond. He was attached to No 11 Field Hospital and also a cavalry regiment, details of which are in the diary. If it is of interest, I could upload extracts on an ongoing basis.#
