Hi all,
Just thought I'd take the opportunity to introduce myself.
My name's Derek, I live in Fife, Scotland. Some of you may know me as a member of various other forums.
I've been collecting medals for some 20+ years and have a particular interest in the Black Watch in the Boer War. I also collect Imperial Yeomanry Queen's South Africa Medals and have a good amount of material on the 20th (Fife and Forfar) Company, 6th (Scottish) Battalion, and the 47th (Duke of Cambridge's Own) Company, 13th Battalion.
I also enjoy researching the 139th, 140th, 141st, 142nd and 177th Companies, 31st (Fincastle's Horse) Battalion - third contingent Scottish Yeomanry.
If I can help with any queries, please don't hesitate to give me a shout.
Thanks,
Derek
