The attached stable belt has been in my posession for some time. It appears to have regimental insignia(cap badges and or shoulder flashes) of all Britsh Forces that participated in the war, or probably in a specific campaign. I need to know two basic things:
a. Can anyone identify the stable belt positively?
b. Where can I have this appraised to determine value?

Hi Harryvs,

I can help with question 2 rather than question 1.

if you log onto the DNW website ( www.dnw.co.uk ) there is the facility to upload a picture of your item and ask for a free valuation.

Best wishes
David

Good Morning.....

To me looking at the picture from a distance it looks like a mixture of Victorian and WW1 Badges......

Close-ups would help.....

Certainly not " all the British forces" that participated in the war, although the army was quite small back then, a trade off, really, for a large navy, it was still huge by todays standard!
