Following the acquisition of a fully hallmarked and named specimen to a subsequently verified QSA recipient , I did a bit of research and eventually unearthed details of nine known specimens of which 7 are named and only 3 ( 2 named and 1 unnamed ) have the W. .Clare Dublin maker's hallmark.Of the others , 2 have Birmingham hallmarks ( apparently for 1901 and 1914 respectively ) and 1 shows 9 Ct. instead of 9 C. Personally I will have doubts about the six without the full W.Clare stamp until such time as further research allays these doubts .

I have this example named to E J Hession and with the makers name. I do not have the QSA.
