Hi
I understand this is a Boer War uniform. Could anyone help me identify the regiment?

The photo was among family photos and I would love to know who he is. There was a larger version of this picture hanging in my grandparents' home in Shuttleworth, Lancashire so he could be a member of the Nuttall or Duckworth families.

Any help would be welcome

Thanks again Mike.
It's strange that you mention a studio photo as my grandmother always said it was a staged photo of my grandfather but he fought in the First World War. Apart from looking nothing like my him, surely WW1 soldiers wouldn't dress in Boer War uniform for a photo? This seems very odd.
