Hello! I'm researching a cabinet photo by W.P. Fries, SA (see attached). Can anyone please help me identify the uniforms of these 2 soldiers? Many Thanks!

We used to have a picture of my Grandfather dressed like this but on his own with his foot stood on a chap it was the only photo we had of him but my aunt lost it . It will be interesting to find out what the uniform is as we know he was in the Boer War but cannot find any records He has a common name lol:

Thanks Frank, Unfortunately the men are unidentified. I purchased it locally in London but I enjoy learning more about photos in my collection. I'm also trying to find out more about the photographer Fries, not sure where to look for SA ancestry.
