Hi All

I believe this is a photograph of my Great grandfather and his brother I know that three of my uncle's served in the Paddington Rifles But I have only found one that actually served in the Boer War. 834 Lance Corporal E A Woods. His war records show that he served in the C I V between 1899 and 1902 before resigning to join the East Surrey Regiment.
I would be most grateful if anyone could tell me a bit more about this photo. I have noticed that the chap sitting down has a different uniform to the one standing Also one standing has a medal, looking under a magnifying glass looks to have bars but I can not say for sure how many.
