I've been told the uniform in this pic could possibly be from the Boer War.
Can anyone identify please or come up with any suggestions?

It may well be your attachment is too large, if so, resize it to around the region of 800 by 800 and try again.

Hello Anita,
Yes, that is certainly of the period and was only withdrawn in 1914 because of the Great War, an Infantryman, Home Service Dress, but, prior to 1902.
Do you actually know who this man was?
