SAMIF badges are actually quite scarce things in general and some, very rare in particular, far more, than a mere QSA to the same.

It is indeed amazing that these badges still turn up! In my first period of collecting, they were almost never seen in OZ. The only time I saw a small display of them was in the Australian War Memorial in the early 70's.
More recently, they sometimes surfaced due to a certain on-line auction site. I have been looking for a "Lumsden's Horse" shoulder title for years!
When I get a few moments, I will post some pics of those in my little collection.
