Hello fellow Boer War enthusiasts,
I'm a new member and enthusiastic collector of original Boer War militaria (from both conflicts). I've recently been slowly building a small collection and hope to put together a full uniform and kit display some day. I'm looking forward to discussing the Second Anglo-Boer War with all of you. Here is my most prized Boer War era item, an original 1895 Mk IV water bottle.

Great to see your water bottle, here is the example I own, missing its cover but unit marked on the strap. I doubt it went anywhere near S Africa, but still a star in my collection.
