Good Day.

I recently picked up this forage cap that claimed to belong to someone in the South African Constabulary. Looking at the badge, this is not the case unless there was a later badge. I have been trying to figure out what badge would have been with this cap and although the 1885 Service Ribbon is a clue, have yet find even if this hat had been to South Africa.

Looks like the Canadian Large Maple Leaf.....

A number of Canadians went into the SAC rather than go home at the end of their time....
