Many thanks for posting these images. I'll bet made your day when you found that these uniform items are extant and in such superb condition (providing they are genuine of course).
Are they on public display or part of a private collection?

The holster, ammo belt, snake buckle belt are from my collection the rest from another collection and all pieces are correct..... I do have a Captain's uniform but it does not have the Canadian Scouts or Canadian Collar Badges but I do know who it was worn by......

It always amazes me how these things survive for over a hundred years ago!

Yes he did when first formed but most of his service was with Strathcona's Horse and South African Constabulary.....
