When still serving in the SA Army and stationed in Natal I had to do with many of the local farmers from time to time. East Griqualand was one of the areas we worked in and friends in the farming community knew that I collected "stuff" and passed them on to me. I was lucky to have been in the right place at the right time!

You're a fortunate man, Madziro. Its great that you helped to preserve these items as some are, I believe, very rare indeed.
