By default, messages in the forum are ordered starting with the oldest message. This means the latest message could be one or several pages away.

In the forum, it is possible to reverse the ordering so that the most recent post is always visible at the top of the list. You can then scroll and page through the older posts in that thread.

I would considering switching the order to newest first and wondered what people thought?

I can always try a new reading method but it will take some getting used to .
Hmmm I prefer to read the posts in a natural progression starting with the 1st post and reading the thread down the page in chronological order.

One of the benefits of the new forum is that you can now change the order in which posts are presented on an individual basis using the new forum profile options.



I can set the default order for the forum and you can go with this or override it.
