I recently purchased a 7 clasp QSA to C. B. Hearns 296 Natal VR with clasps CC E DOL OFS Tvl LN and SA01. The roll in David's book show only 6, omitting the CC clasp but this is confirmed in the Commander in Chief's Bodyguard roll in WO 100/243 where Hearns' entry shows entitlement to CC OFS and Tvl, struck through and annotated M and 7 clasps Issued off AG2/M/1197, CC clasp added to roll.
