I would be wary about purchasing this particular example.

Other units that have Indian Followers are as follows

3rd King's Own Hussars
9th Lancers
1st West Yorks
2nd King's Royal Rifle Corps
“A” Battery Royal Horse Artillery
“E” Battery Royal Horse Artillery
“H” Battery Royal Horse Artillery
6th Battery Royal Field Artillery
11th Battery Royal Field Artillery
19th Battery Royal Field Artillery
21st Battery Royal Field Artillery
30th Battery Royal Field Artillery
31st Battery Royal Field Artillery
32nd Battery Royal Field Artillery
33rd Battery Royal Field Artillery
35th Battery Royal Field Artillery
36th Battery Royal Field Artillery
46th Battery Royal Field Artillery
49th Battery Royal Field Artillery
52nd Battery Royal Field Artillery
Depot 53rd Battery Royal Field Artillery
54th Battery Royal Field Artillery
57th Battery Royal Field Artillery
71st Field Battery Royal Artillery
72nd Battery Field Royal Artillery
80th Battery Field Royal Artillery
No 2 Mountain Battery, Royal Garrison Artillery
68th Wiltshire Imperial Yeomanry
A.V.D

I have the unique medal to the 52nd Bty. R.F.A

2021 Dvr. Mardan Ali 52nd Bty. R.F.A

The 52nd Bty R.F.A. were not present during the Boer War and this is the sole representative of the unit. I would be very keen to know more. He is on the roll with the note "Returned to India" & "Deceased"
Looking for Salutries, Salootries and Veterinary Duffadars.
I collect primarily QSAs to Indian Recipients.

Hi David......

I should have expanded that a little more, I have seen silver medals but I have not seen a bronze one named to a British Unit.....

Hi Mike,
This one is a fake. He is not on the roll and the naming, colour of the medal and the strikings are so wrong.
