The latest edition of the OMRS Journal (54/4) contains an article by Paul Rozenzweig of South Australia entitled 'The renamed double relief medals of William John Burk (1886-1926)'.

The double relief refers to a QSA (1) RoL and China (1) Relief of Pekin in a group with a BWM & VM.

The author says Burk was one of 6 men to receive the double relief single clasp but goes on to show how he was not entitled to either medal as he was 14 at the time the relief clasps were awarded.

This was another pair on my watchlist today. It hammered at £950, well beyond my maximum and three times the lower estimate.
