There was not a high correlation between rarity and prices realised. For example, the four TGs from this list with the fewest medals issued, Middleton (27), Rosmead (27), Jansenville (30) and Hanover (41) sold, respectively for GBP 194, 310, 155 and 123.

DNW’s October auction preview is out and there are a few QSA’s to Town Guards. I doubt that there will be anything to keep me out of bed until 3am on a work day to bid on. Worth a couple of advance bids though.

I quite like the concept of submitting the bid ahead of time as it is very definite and stops the temptation to keep clicking on the bid button beyond budgetary or reasonableness levels. That said, participating in the live auction does possess a very engaging dimension.
