Jiffy bag Ball as there is to much for just a dance..... LOL

It's Christmas in April, both in getting presents and emptying the wallet.....

I was lucky enough to receive all of these in one day even though they came from different parts of the world......

Some fill holes in the collection and some I just could not refuse......

4. 183106 ABLE-SEAMAN GEORGE EDWIN SHEPHERD, H.M.S. PHILOMEL, NATAL

Looks like a have a lot of work to do now......

The DoK medal is verified. Page, 173 Tpr Reginald George, KLH. QSA (2) DoK OFS. Served 19 Oct 99 to 14 Mar 00. Also served KTG. QSA (2). Neate Nov 95 £95

I have verified the QSA to J P McDonald, Kaffrarians.

His 4 clasps are listed on WO100/254p43.

He was discharged from the KR on 5 November 1900. No subsequent service indicated on the roll.

PS I had a Jiffy Bag Dance (not Ball) a few days ago when the QSA to LB 12 Syce Ishar Bali, 17th Bengal Lancers, arrived at its new home. This medal was featured recently on David G's 'Indian Contingent' thread.

The naming can often be faint and (I find) difficult to read. How its on your medal?
