I've acquired a QSA with clasps Defence of Ladysmith and Orange Free State to the above chap.

How would one determine if he was one of the POW's taken at Nicholson's Nek?

Regards

Rory

Mike & Rory

I have "all" the POWs listed on FmP and The Register.

However for your two guys - the DoL clasp means he wasn't a POW prior to Feb 1900 (relief of ladysmth). Nicholson's Nek POWs received the 'Natal' and 'Transvaal' clasps.

I would wager your guys weren't POWs.
