Army LS&GC VR (751. B:Q:M: Sgt. W. Havern. R.H.A.);
Army MSM EdVII (Bty: Serjt: Maj: W. Havern. R.A.).

Battery Sergeant-Major W. Havern is confirmed on the QSA Medal Roll with entitlement as above, and he is also listed as having been wounded at Oliphant’s Vlei on 28 May 1900.

His is named in ‘The Annuity Meritorious Service Medal 1847-1953’ by McInnes showing full entitlement as above, noting that his Army Meritorious Service Medal was issued on 1 January 1905. He was known to be alive in 1926.
