This is very kind of you Adrian and will be of great benefit to the lucky few who have medals to this unusual unit.

You didn't perhaps stumble across the same to the Tembuland Mounted Rifle Club did you?

Regards

Rory

That's fantastic, Adrian.

I am going to the NA tomorrow to see if the roll exists. In response to my email earlier this week, the TNA said they would consider my request for access to the roll tomorrow. If so, I will also see if I can photograph the 2 pages of the MMR roll for Mike.

I have pre-ordered the Cattle Ranger attestation papers so will see if your man is there, Rory.

Here is the 3 pages that make up the roll for the XMR on what should be pages 298, 299 and 300

The XMR make up the last 3 pages in the volume and are separated by a sheet of plain paper so they are easy to miss. The person who stamped the numbers on the bound volume missed the last three pages and marked the final page of the WPMR as the end of the volume.
