Definitely a good read; I like the pic of the six-inch gun dismounted from HMS "Terrible" in action at (apparently) maximum elevation on Gun Hill during the fourth attempt to cross the Tugela. Another good read regarding the Naval Brigades is "The Commission of HMS Terrible" by George Crowe, MAA.
Reading those books - in conjunction with Peter Singlehurst's "Afloat and Ashore" - should explain to any reader why Naval QSAs bearing Battle Clasps are well regarded.

I was looking this morning at the split between Cape and Natal clasps to the RN. Of the 224 RN QSAs with clasps, 102 have 'Cape' clasps and 122 'Natal' clasps.
