I have a medal with the following

4420 Pte J Carroll 2: Yorks: Lt Inf with bars
Belmont, Modder River, Orange Free State and Transvaal.

Any information regarding this award and the recipient would be appreciated.

Private J.Carroll 4420 K.O.Y.L.I.
Wounded at Enslin 25th November 1899

Medal rolls show only one clasp awarded, that of Belmont.
Private Carroll was invalided to England 24Th December 1899

No service records appear on Find my Past.
