Just by way of proving that there is something to be learned every day...

Whilst researching Lt. Charles De Vere Hunt, Mosita Squadron, D.M.T. I stumbled across a note that this body of men was also known as Keeley's Scouts.

J.J. Keeley's (the O.C. of the Mosita Squad.) medal was issued off the Mosita Roll but he was also the founder of Keeley's Scouts.

Has anyone ever seen a medal issued to these chaps?

No, never, Rory.

The National Archives index suggests the Keeley's Scouts QSA roll is in WO100/239 but I have just been through that roll and cannot see any mention. I thought perhaps one of the squadrons of the CCF may have been known as Keeley's Scouts but no.

The only mention is the link between Mosita Sqn DMT and Keeley's Scouts:

Quite so David and, if I'm not mistaken, the top of the page you supplied reads "Otherwise known as" or words to that effect implying that the Mosita Squad. was aka Keeley's Scouts.

As further "evidence" I append a redacted version of a letter my chap Hunt's mother wrote to Joseph Chamberlain apropos war compensation.
