I have just obtained another Coldstream Guards QSA , recently I saw a topic entitle Medals to the Coldstream Guards or equivalent, despite all my vain attempts I cannot find a way of locating it

Yes, it does indeed.

At the end of the tabs above the forum is one named Search.



If you click on this tab, you can enter any search term to search all past posts. In this instance, I would suggest entering Coldstream Guards in the search window and then choose to only search titles and then press Search (at the bottom of the screen).
