There is a QSA (2) Relief of Mafeking and Rhodesia on offer on BidorBuy.

Named to 322 Sapr T. Chivers Southern Rhodesian Volunteers.

www.bidorbuy.co.za/item/568822070/QSA_me...E_details_below.html

The naming looks mostly OK except for the rank

He is listed as a Sapper for these two clasps on WO100/267p11

The meaning of the 'x' is not clear.

The medal was issued 6 March 1903.

There was also a gold tribute medal to Chivers listed separately on BidorBiy, at the same time.

It appears not to have been sold.

I know the seller who tells me that he put a higher reserve price on the medal which is why it closed without selling. I can't speak to the rank but have asked him for better photos of the rim which I'll post here if he sends them to me.

QSA (4) Rhodesia, Relief of Mafeking, Transvaal, South Africa 1901 (817 Serjt: Maj: R. T. McNeilage. S. Rhoda: Vols:)

I presume 'Rhoda:' in the unit name should be 'Rhod:'

Rolls give the surname as MacNeilage

QSA (4) Rhodesia, Relief of Mafeking, Transvaal, Orange Free State (433 Sjt: G. H. Webb. S. Rhod: Vols:)

George Henry Webb had previously served in the Windsorton District Mounted Troops before joining the Southern Rhodesia Volunteers. It is worthwhile noting that Sergeant-Major Webb of his unit was 'mentioned' (London Gazette 16 April 1901, refers)
